Left picture: Dallas/Fort Worth Basenji Club auctioned #1 Print of this commissioned painting in oils which drew the highest bid at $140.00 over other recognized artist work.  Print # 2 & 3  as well as the original was used as their National Trophies.  

Right: Portrait of "Ansata Ibn Halima"was auctioned at the ETAHC in 1982, purchased at $1000.00 by Gus and Gene McFadden of Plum Nearly Ranch in Beaumont, Tx.




Lisa began​ in 1970 by painting portraits of people and pets, until her love for Arabian horses drew her back to her most favorite subject. Their grace and form satisfied her artist's eye, and their loving dispositions won her heart. 


Through the Arabian horse shows, Lisa was introduced to bronze sculpture of Arabian horses for the first time.  Lisa was captivated by the idea of creating sculptures. With the encouragement of friends and family Lisa, determined to learn, enrolled at Stephen F. Austin State  University and is certain she has found the medium she has been searching for all her life.  


Lisa has won many first and second place ribbons in juried art shows and also won some impressive ribbons at state competition under renown judges  with her first bronze sculptures.  


Lisa's art has been used as National trophies by the Dallas/Fort Worth Basenji Kennel club, also the Dallas/Fort Worth Arabian horse club, and her bronze sculptures' " Proud Image" , "Presentation" , "true Pleasure have been used as trophies of  Arabian horse show. Lisa has also been published in "the Easel in 1988.   See " the Easel"The Easel published . Also in the late 80's Lisa was honored to be invited to two media events featuring Patrick Swayze and other movie stars such as Bill Paxton, Eathan Wayne, and Dusty Hill.  See photos here:

A native of East Texas, where she has lived all her life, Lisa spent her time drawing horses ever since she was a little girl. ​
